I have discovered a superior life experience. I gain this when my actions are operated by my self. I will teach my method for sustained self-control, and why it is important to be done.
I will start by showing why it is important.
The operator that controls my body’s actions when I am not controlling them, aims to do that which would feel the nicest. This operator became aware of information that showed self-control’s superiority in achieving its aim.
The uncontrolled operator has the potential to enter situations that feel unacceptable to it, whilst the controlled operator does not have that potential. Since the uncontrolled operator’s aim is to feel as good as possible, it chooses to activate the controlled operator. Now, when the uncontrolled operator gets an opportunity to do something fun, it chooses to switch to control instead, because control will protect it from discontent.
I have found that it is not enough to just intend to control your own actions. This has been ineffective. It has been useful to give myself something to operate my actions towards.
The list of important doings, and their reasons.
Create this list by labelling an item of doing, and adding it to the list if there is reason for its importance. When the item is in the list, you may need to have the reason attached to it.
To keep the list from decaying from your memory, you may need to study it.
As I proceed to test and improve my method for sustained control, I will make the updates accessible on my website, called oddinsinfo.wordpress.com. Updates will also be accessible in websites like YouTube. Links to these will be put in the main website that I mentioned.
